The sun has ultra violet rays (UVA, UVB) which directly attack the collagen in the dermis, below the skin's surface. The result is a lost of elasticity and resilience of the skin. Therefore, the greater the exposure to the sun, the bigger the damage to the skin.
To relieve sunburn pain and damage:
1. Cut fresh aloe vera into slivers (remove the skin). lay these out over the damage area. Guaranteed results after fifteen minutes. repeat every fifteen minutes until redness or pain disappears.
2. Apple cider vinegar wash - take two tablespoons of vinegar and mix with two tablespoons of water. Mix and spray on the affected area. Repeat every fifteen minutes until pain goes away.
3. Milk spray or bath - chilled milk will soothe a sun burn. apply on the affected area in a compress form.
