Sauteed String Beans

Ingredients

1 pc. tofu
cooking oil for frying
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 small ginger, cut into strips
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, sliced thinly
1 can (180g) Corned Tuna
1 can (115g) mushrooms pieces & stems
1 tbsp. soy sauce
½ cup oyster sauce
½ cup water
2 bundles string beans, cut into 2" lengths
1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
 

Procedure

1.     Deep fry tofu in oil until crisp outside and cut into strips. Set aside.
2.     Heat oil and sauté ginger, garlic, onion, corned tuna and mushrooms.
3.     Add soy sauce, oyster sauce and water. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
4.     Add in string beans. Cook for 10 minutes on medium low heat.
5.     Add in red bell pepper and fried tofu strips. Cook for 3-5 minutes.
6.     Serve hot.
